Arsenal press conference live: Arteta on Saka, Martinelli and Brighton – Football.London

Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Brighton at the Amex Arena in the Premier League.

The Gunners were ultimately lucky to get a point in a match which Graham Potter’s side dominated and had several chances to put the game to bed.

The best of those fell to Lewis Dunk who somehow blazed over from inside the six yard box after an Aaron Ramsdale error, while Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay went close.

The Gunners did have some opportunities with Emile Smith Rowe probably wasting the best of them by firing a low weak shot straight at Robert Sanchez.

The game seemed to be crying out for Gabriel Martinelli but the Brazilian remained on the bench as Arsenal clung on for a point.

A bad day then got worse as Bukayo Saka was forced off late through what looked to a nasty injury.
