The transfer window is up and running, presenting Mikel Arteta with the chance to bolster his Arsenal squad with new arrivals while also trimming it with sales.
Midfield has been the Gunners’ area of focus in recent weeks, with Wolves ace Ruben Neves believed to be a target as Granit Xhaka edges closer to joining Roma.
Following the Swiss out of the door may be Matteo Guendouzi, who has not featured for the club in almost a year after falling out with Mikel Arteta.
There are also crucial decisions to be made in attack and defence, none more pressing than the future of club vice-captain Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard is Arsenal’s longest-serving player but has been liked with an Emirates exit for many months, with a price tag now reportedly set for his services.
Also featuring an update on the Gunners’ interest in an up-and-coming Swedish striker, here is Thursday’s Arsenal transfer round-up.
Gunners set Bellerin price tag
Arsenal will demand £20million for Hector Bellerin’s services this summer, according to CBS Sports .
The 26-year-old has been on the Gunners’ books for a decade but is reportedly keen on a new challenge, with a host of clubs across Europe monitoring the situation.
Atletico Madrid are one of the latest clubs credited with interest in Bellerin, while Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Betis are also believed to be in the race.
The former La Masia academy prospect has two years remaining on his contract at Arsenal, for whom he has made 239 appearances.
Arsenal keeping tabs on Isak
Arsenal chiefs are keen to strengthen their options at centre-forward and have identified Real Sociedad frontman Alexander Isak as a target.
That’s according to The Athletic , which claims Isak, 21, has caught the eye of Gunners technical director Edu.
The Sweden international scored 17 goals in La Liga this season, including a spectacular flurry of nine goals in six games across January and February.
The report adds Isak is protected by £60.2million release clause, while the towering striker has three years remaining on his contract with Sociedad.

Guendouzi deal ‘agreed’
Matteo Guendouzi has agreed to join Marseille, according to reports in France, potentially bringing to an end to his exile under Mikel Arteta.
The once-promising Arsenal midfielder has not featured for the club in almost a year after a bust-up with his manager.
Guendouzi spent last season on loan at Hertha Berlin, while Marseille have been pursuing him from some time with a view to a summer transfer.
La Provence claims terms between the club and the 22-year-old have been reached, with Marseille now looking to agree a fee in the region of €15million (£13m) with Arsenal.
