Nigeria’s Women 100m hurdles sprinter Oluwatobiloba Amusan has expressed her feelings towards the Minister for Youths and Sport Sunday Dare initiative towards the Tokyo 2020 Olmpics.

Earlier this week, the Minister for Youth and Sports Mr Sunday Dare initiated a strategy tagged #TheAdoptCampaign# to enhance team Nigeria’s performance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics which Some prominent individuals or Philanthropist accepted the idea and adopted some athletes including Tobi Amusan.

Speaking with the media after discovering that she will be sponsored and get all entitlement at the right time, Amusan heap praises the Minister and urge him to do more in the Nigerian sporting world.

“To me, this is how to go about Sports Development, the man is just exceptional and I have to salute his sparkling sense of humor. I wish to urge him to continue in that manner”. She said

“I want to thank him on behalf of other athletes who have been adopted. We will always do our best to make him proud.

“I am so excited when I received the news because I couldn’t make it to the Adopt Campaign Program in Lagos.

“I have received series of calls from people commending the honourable Minister for the excellent job he is doing. I thank God for this is happening now when we are preparing for 2020 Olympics

Tobi concluded by assuring Nigerians that the athletes will return to Nigeria with medals at the 2020 Olympics to be hosted in Tokyo
