BEACH SOCCER: Great Britain beat Brazil to reach first ever beach soccer gold medal match

Great Britain are into the final of the women’s beach soccer after beating Brazil in a thriller at the inaugural World Beach Games.

Sarah Kempson’s late strike proved vital as Team GB came from three goals down to book their place in the gold medal match with a 6-5 win.

Goalkeeper Hannah Haughton produced a stunning save with just two seconds remaining to keep a hold of Britain’s lead and guide them to a final against Spain.

The final will take place in Doha on Wednesday to decide the first ever World Beach Games soccer gold medalists.
