Elizabeth Addo makes the shortlist for the CAF Women’s player of the year.
After an incredible season with Jiangsu Suning, the 26-year-old got her name in a list which has the likes of four-time Africa Women’s player of the year award winner Asisat Oshoala, Ajara Nchout, Ange N’Guessan, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Gabrille Ouguene, Refiloe Jane, Tabitha Chawinga, Christian Thembi Kgatlana and Uchenna Kanu.
Addo makes it on the shortlist for the second year running.
The former Seattle Reign and Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder could become only the third Ghanaian to ever win the award after ex-Black Queens duo Alberta Sackey and Grace Adwoa Bayor.
