The female senior national team, Black Queens, will play a friendly game against Kasoa-based Blessed Ladies on April 25 as they gear up for the forthcoming WAFU tournament.

The reigning WAFU champions have already played against Combined Forces and Nyan-maim Academy, recording a resounding win in the former and lost against the academy boys.

Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo in conjunction with her technical team yesterday pruned down her squad to 25 and will test the mettle of her team against the lower tier side today before getting her final 21 to represent the country in Ivory Coast.

Ghana, three-time finalists of the AWCON, will open the defense of their title against Bassouare Diaby-led Senegal on May 8.
