Cameroon women football season cancelled due to Covid-19

As the coronavirus pandemic continued to disrupt major sporting events across the globe the Fecafoot has no plans to play fools-hardy

The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) has cancelled the remainder of the women’s football season.

The decision was announced on Tuesday evening via their official Twitter account, after an agreement by Cameroon Transitional Technical Committee, and the Cameroon women’s football league.

Louves Minprof were crowned Cameroon’s women’s league title following the cancellation of the 2019-20 season by the Cameroonian Football Federation.

Following the outbreak of the pandemic which led to the suspension of football-related activities, the Cameroonian top-flight was put on a hiatus.

And with the possibility of not completing the remaining games – owing to the continuous spread of the virus, leaders Louves Minprof have been crowned as winners women’s league.
