Juventus join Haaland race

There has been no secret made of Chelsea’s desire to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer.

The Blues are keen to recruit a striker and see the Norwegian as the ideal candidate to lead the line at Stamford Bridge.

Indeed, a deal has proven troublesome and it could get even harder with Italian giants Juventus now setting their sights on Haaland as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to La Repubblica.

Although, the Serie A outfit are set to wait until next summer to make their move.

Olivier Giroud signs for AC Milan

Whilst a deal for one striker remains up in the air, one has already been confirmed with Olivier Giroud swapping west London for Milan.

The Frenchman was announced as an AC Milan player on Saturday morning, signing a two-year contract at the San Siro.

It brings to an end an extremely successful three-and-a-half-year period for Giroud with Chelsea.

Blues submit Rice enquiry

Elsewhere, Chelsea appear to have stepped up their interest in a previous transfer target from during the reign of Frank Lampard.

According to journalist Dean Jones, talking on The Football Terrace Youtube show, Thomas Tuchel remains interested in West Ham United and England midfielder Declan Rice.

The Blues have even looked into the possibility of signing him this summer, having apparently submitted an informal enquiry to the Hammers.
