Niklas Sule for free
The latest reports coming from the continent are alluding to problems in negotiations between Bayern Munich and the centre-half for a new contract, which could open up the possibility of Chelsea poaching the 26-year-old on a free transfer.
This has been reported by Sport Witness who has quoted Sport 1’s journalist Florian Plettenberg, who says the player has ‘got requests’ from England.
Chelsea have long been credited with an interest in the German centre-back, who coach Thomas Tuchel is thought to be a big fan of.
Marina Granovskaia tried to go for Jules Kounde in the summer transfer window but could revisit this potential deal in the upcoming January transfer window as it could save the club £68million.
Most of the interest in Sule is understood to be mostly driven by Tuchel himself who believes he is the option needed to take his defensive unit up to the next level.
Romelu Lukaku disagrees with manager Thomas Tuchel
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed with Antonio Conte’s view on how to get the best out of him amid the ongoing debate surrounding the Belgian’s start to his second stint in England.
Lukaku, 28, has scored four goals in all competitions so far for the European Champions since he signed in the latter stages of the summer transfer window from Inter Milan in a club-record deal totalling £97.5million.
Despite the relatively good start to life back in SW6, the prolific talisman is unexpectedly going through a bit of a barren run in front of goal having not scored in his last five Blues matches which will be a slight concern to supporters.
“The way I’m built – I’m quite big – everybody thinks I’m a sort of target man: just holding up the ball and being a goal poacher,” he told UEFA.com via The Mirror.
“But I’ve never played that way and I hate it. My biggest strength is that I’m dangerous when I’m facing towards the goal, because that’s when I rarely make wrong choices.”

Saul Niguez must ‘grow’ and develop
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has admitted that current out of favour midfielder Saul Niguez needs time to ‘grow’ and develop amid growing frustrations at a lack of game time in west London.
Saul, 26, has failed to hit the ground running like other signing Romelu Lukaku who has made a far greater impact so far in SW6 than the Spaniard has.
“Now we have added Saul and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the group, and we have more possibilities. They have to grow into that same game understanding of what we want,” Tuchel said.
