Haaland offer rejected

Borussia Dortmund have rejected Chelsea’s opening offer for Erling Haaland.

That is according to Sky in Germany.

Chelsea are said to have offered Dortmund either Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson-Odoi in part exchange for Haaland, but the Bundesliga side are determined to hold onto the 20-year-old.

£105m Lukaku hint

Another striker that has been on Chelsea’s radar is Romelu Lukaku as a sensational return to west London has been heavily rumoured.

But judging by what new Inter Milan signing Hakan Calhanoglu has said, it is almost certain that Lukaku is staying put this summer.

I can’t wait to play with Romelu and Lautaro, they’re very strong players in front. We need time to know each other, they know each other, but with me, they have to learn my movements.

With me, I have to know their movements but I can’t wait to play with them and give them assists .

‘Top secret’ £8.5m bid

Chelsea have submitted a ‘top secret’ bid to sign upcoming Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde, 17, in a €10m (£8.5m) deal.

This is according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo via TeamTalk.

It seems like this signing if it went ahead would be one for the future, meaning the 17-year-old would go into the development team.

Dortmund ‘braced’ for Haaland bid

Borussia Dortmund are bracing themselves for Chelsea to make a firm move for Erling Haaland.

That’s according to the Standard who claim German club will deploy the same stance as they did when fending off Manchester United’s interest in Jadon Sancho last summer.

EFL change that affects Chelsea

The Carabao Cup semi-final stage will return to its usual two-legged format next season after a one-season change.

The domestic trophy saw its last four ties be changed to one-off games last season because of the 2020/21 campaign having its fixture list even more congested than usual.

Kane update

According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Chelsea’s chances of signing Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer are very small.

The England captain continues to be linked with a move away from Spurs, with the Blues reportedly keen, but this is not something Solhekol sees happening anytime soon.

Then it comes to Harry Kane, could he go to Chelsea, we know he wants to leave Spurs.

Personally, I can never see Spurs selling Harry Kane or any other player to one of their biggest, if not their biggest rival, Chelsea.

Potential lineups for pre-season fixture

Chelsea will take on Championship side Peterborough in a behind closed doors friendly this weekend.

Thomas Tuchel has been working with a 29-man strong squad this week at Cobham with a month to go before the Premier League season gets underway. understands that the match will be very much a case of easing players back into action with some of them having had six weeks off before returning to Cobham across the past few days.

So how on earth could Tuchel set a team out of returning loan players and youngsters to take on the Championship side?

Abraham value

Tammy Abraham has just under two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, which could have a bearing on his value.

Despite this, Chelsea view their academy graduate as extremely valuable and have placed a £50m price tag on his head.

If Borussia Dortmund do not show any interest in taking Abraham as part of the Haaland deal, then Chelsea could look to sell the striker in order to raise funds for the Norway superstar, who could go for way more than £100m this summer.

Giroud exit imminent

AC Milan director Paulo Maldini has confirmed that Olivier Giroud is expected to complete a move to the Italian club in the next hours.

Giroud, who signed a new one-year extension to his Blues contract recently, is set to leave Stamford Bridge for some sort of a fee due to that contract renewal.

Maldini told DAZN: “Olivier Giroud will arrive tomorrow (speaking yesterday) and he’ll be our new signing.”

Haaland swap deal prepared

According to the Mirror, Chelsea are lining up a ‘monster bid’ for Erling Haaland, with Tammy Abraham expected to be involved in the offer.

The Blues are desperate to sign Haaland this summer, but are well aware the Borussia Dortmund striker will not be cheap and that’s why Abraham could be used to try and drive the price down.

Chelsea value their striker at £50million, something Dortmund are disputing considering he played just seven times under Thomas Tuchel from January until the end of the season.
