Covid-19: Black Princess captain Justice Tweneboaa preaches ‘safe practices’

Ampem Darkoa Ladies captain Justice Tweneboaa comes out to share her opinion on covid 19 pandemic.

The 19-year old defender, who captains Ghana’s U20 Ladies team, reiterated that coping without football for the past three weeks has not been easy her and colleague footballers.

Speaking with NBSports, Ama Tweneboaa feels pegged back due to the cancellation of the National Women’s League just when the first leg of the 2019/2020 season had come to an end.

She said: “It’s not been easy. We’re unable to train. Even if we do, it’s a personal training, of which there’s a huge difference as compared to training as a team.”

The two-time league winner beseeched every Ghanaian to pray to God and comply with safety measures  like regular washing of the hands under running water with soap, the usage of alcohol based sanitizers to help prevent and fight coronavirus

“We must take into consideration government policies ensured  to help prevent the spread of coronavirus,” she added.
