Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe is set to make her debut for Sky Blue FC tomorrow, June 30 when the team takes on OL Reign at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah in the NWSL Challenge Cup.
The former Hasaacas Ladies midfielder joined the NWSL side from USL League club Asheville in March on a short-term deal.
The talented midfielder is the first and only Ghanaian player to go through college and play professionally in National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
She is also the second Ghanaian player to play in the NWSL after Black Queens Skipper Elizabeth Addo who played for Seattle Reign in 2018.
The team will open the tournament against OL Reign at 10:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
CBS All Access will air the game in the United States and Canada with international viewing available on Twitch.
