Gabby Agbonlahor has compared Erling Haaland to prime Didier Drogba after his explosive start for Manchester City.
The Norwegian star moved from Borussia Dortmund to City for £51million this summer after 86 goals in 89 games with the German side.
After successive hat-tricks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, 22-year-old Haaland already has nine goals in five Premier League games – and former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor has claimed defenders are already terrified of him.

He told Talksport: ‘Before he signed, I said “when he comes to the Premier League, he is going to cause havoc”.
‘He’s the sort of striker where defenders – you know, Drogba was like it – where defenders six days before were in the changing room like “Oh, we’re playing Drogba on Saturday”. Now it’s like “We’re playing Haaland, what do we do? I don’t know”.
‘Defenders will be getting their centre midfielders to cover in front. Do you know what I mean? They’ll be getting them to come and help them, they’ll be asking the left back to come inside and help them. He’s frightening.

‘He’s not even playing at his best yet. Imagine when he gets used to the team and he starts (dropping) off and getting involved in play a lot more. He’s scary.’
Legendary Ivorian frontman Drogba scored 164 goals across two spells at Chelsea, winning four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, two Community Shields and a Champions League title.
In the 2011-2012 European showpiece, Drogba scored a powerful 88th-minute header from a corner to equalise against Bayern Munich, before nervelessly scoring the winning penalty.
