The female senior national team, will engage Gabon in the return leg at the Accra Sports stadium instead of the initially arranged Cape Coast Sports stadium in their Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers.

Goals from Elizabeth Owusuaa, Portia Boakye and Priscilla Okyere were enough to humble Gabon 3-0 in the first leg of the qualifiers played on Wednesday.

The return leg which was supposed to be staged at the Cape Coast Sports stadium has been changed to the nation’s Wembley – Accra Sports stadium on Tuesday September 3 at 1500 hours GMT.

Black Queens under the tutelage of Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo are upbeat to rewrite history as Ghana has never featured at the Olympic Games.
