Assistant coach of the Black Queens and head coach of Halifax Ladies, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo believes her team is primed for the upcoming Special Competition.

The WAFU gold medalist is putting her team through the paces and expects her side to live up to expectation.

In an interview with NB Sports, the former referee said,

“We have being in camp for two and half weeks. As we all know, football in the country came to a standstill until this Normalization Committee Special Competition came to being.

“We are preparing earnestly towards the competition and it’s my prayer that we (Halifax Ladies) will live up to expectation.”

Halifax Ladies will be going into the encounter with Police Ladies with revenge on their minds as the security side edged them out in the truncated National Women’s League.
