GFA – Justice Ama Tweneboaa Named As Black Princesses Captain

Skipper of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Justice Ama Tweneboa has been appointed as the new Black Princesses captain as the ladies are poised for action when the World Cup qualifier begins.

The national U20 female team is camped in Prampram where there are series of training and friendly games played to prepare them ahead of their qualifying campaign.

Ama Tweneboa was delighted to be given the captains role, promising to work hard to make the team qualify.

” Firstly, let me thank God for this honor, if I see where I started and today becoming a national team captain, it’s God. It has not been easy, looking at the players around who equally deserves it but was chosen to lead the team, I’m grateful. I will do everything possible to help the team improve as a captain”

Ama Tweneboa is a central defender with the capabilities of player in the lateral defense as well.

She was part of the contingent that played in the FIFA U20 female World Cup in France two years ago.
