The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has revealed that plans are underway to construct and improve the current facility in Prampram into a world class edifice as part of efforts to develop infrastructure for the development of the sport in the country.
According to him, the construction of facility at the Centre will reduce congestion and inconvenience anytime two or more national teams are camped ahead of major assignments.
“Kurt Okraku administration is committed to ensure he improves the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence into a world class edifice to improve the development of football talents in Ghana,’’ Asante told Accra-based radio station Kingdom FM
Henry Asante said this is in line with the Association’s core objective of developing infrastructure and technical base of the sport in the quest to develop it to the highest level.
The facility has been the official camp base for the women national teams, and the new administration is poised to make sure it is of a standard to serve the women’s teams.
