Ghana’s Patience Adjetey hailed by management on winning Nigeria Women’s Premier League Award.

The Management and Players of Delta Queens have congratulated one of the own Patience Adjetey on her emergence as the Midfielder of the Season and Maryann Ezeanagu FIR being nominated as Young Player Of The season in the Nigerian Women Premier League, NWPL.

The Delta Queens Midfielder got the award at the Agege Stadium yesterday (Saturday, 2nd November 2019.) during the 2nd edition of the Naija Women Premier league awards .

In the MidFielder of the season category,
Patience Adjetey (Delta Queens) beat Suliat Abideen (Sunshine Queens) and Amarachi Okonronkwo (Nasarawa Amazons) to clinch the award.

Speaking on the feat, The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Queens Henrrientta Ehiabor who spoke on behalf of management and Payers, said the team is very excited that her player is among the winners.

She hailed Patience as an energetic player who has always been committed to her role as an individual player as well as team player, noting that it did not come as a Surprice that her commitment is paying off on her career.

” Patience has always a very committed player that is so focused on her duties in the field of play. Am happy for her. We celebrate her on this as one of our own. ”

“Another of our player Maryann Ezeanagu lost out on The Young Player Of The Season Award, but we thank God for the nomination and Congratulate her too on the recognition.

She noted that Delta Queens will come up better next season.

Patience Adjetey, was also nominated for The player Of The Year Award but she lost out to Anjor Mary Of Bayelsa Queens while team mate Maryann Ezeanagu was nominated as Young Player Of The Season and she lost out to Folashade Ijamilusi of FC Robo.
