Black Princesses Skipper and forward for Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Princella Adubea,  has been declared fit by orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Agbeko Ocloo to return to active football after a year and three months of absence.

It will be recalled that, Princella Adubea hobbled off the field during the final qualifying game for the U-20 Women’s World Cup against Cameroon played at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Since the unfortunate incident which robbed the prolific center forward a chance of playing at the World Cup, she has undergone a successful surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in the nation’s capital and has been declared fit to engage in football.

Before her untimely injury Adubea bagged a total of 10 goals for Ghana en route to the U-20 Women’s Championship, ending up as the eventual top scorer in the African qualifiers.

Adubea’s voracious appetite for goals has been sorely missed by both club and country.

Her prodigious goal scoring rate saw the talented attacker rack up 38 goals for Ampem Darkoa in two seasons and was also the top scorer of the last season’s Sanford Women’s FA Cup.
