Young Halifax defender Eugenia Tetteh expressed unwavering thoughts of her side claiming the ultimate prize in the impending Normalization Committee’s Special Competition for women.

The Normalization Committee’s Special Competition for women is set to take place this weekend involving 16 National Women’s League clubs.

Ahead of the start of the competition Accra-based outfit Halifax Ladies are preparing feverishly for the tournament. 17-year old defender, Eugenia Tetteh is confident of a win against Police Ladies on Saturday.

Speaking to NB Sports, Eugenia said,

“We are going into the game with confidence. We lost against them (Police Ladies) during the league. But this time around we will make sure we are going to win against them.”

“We want to win our first two matches and qualify for the next phase and square off against the other oppositions.”

“Then qualify for the finals of the competition. And take the ultimate prize.”

Halifax are pegged in Group D with security teams, Police Ladies, Immigration Ladies, and Samaria Ladies.
