Hassacas Ladies secured a place in the grand finale of the ongoing NC Special competition after loosing to Elmina Sea Lions by 3-2 narrow margin.

The Sekondi-Takoradi based club won by a lone goal to nil in the first leg before loosing to Elmina 3-2 in the return leg which made the Hasmal Ladies to qualify after 4-4 on aggregate.

Goals scored by Fatimah Alahassan and Theresa Ackon in the 12th and 15th minute respectively saw the home side to have taken early lead in the first department of the game with Lucy Kwofie reducing the deficit for the away side on the 25th minute before the game went to the break.

Early in the second half, Olivia Anokye of Sea Lions restored the lead for the home side on the 56th minute before Evelyn Badu shockingly reduced the deficit for the away side.

Elmina pushed for another goal but the defensive set up of Hassacas was compact for the home side to penetrate. Sea Lions won 3-2 but failed to qualify on the evidence of away goal rule. Hassacas Ladies thus advanced to the grand finale of the tournament and will lock horns with Ampem Darkoaa Ladies.
