One of the clubs that has enjoyed this summer transfer window is French side PSG, but it might not be all rosy, with talisman Kylian Mbappe looking to leave the side.
The business saw Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Gini Wijnaldum all joining on free transfers, while Achraf Hakimi moved from Inter Milan for €70 million.
Simply defined, PSG‘s activity over the last several months represents one of the greatest transfer windows in football history by a single club.
Now, on to Mbappe.
According to RMC Sport, the 22-year-old has just one year left on his contract and has rejected a new five-year deal that contained an option for an extra year and a wage rise, and that only means that PSG could be on the verge of losing one of the best young players in the world for absolutely nothing next summer.
The news of his refusal to commit has been reported for a while now, and as of last night, top transfer journalists were reporting that Real Madrid are ready to dig deep into their pockets to buy the wonderkid, with Everton’s Richarlison set to move the other way.
The big question is, can this actually materialize?
