The quarter-finals fixture for the Euro 2020 is set to kick off on Friday with the first two matches scheduled to be played today with the remaining taking place tomorrow.
Only four teams will make it to the semi-finals and AS Roma Jose Mourinho has predicted the teams that will advance to the last four of the Euro 2020. Mourinho believes England will go past Ukraine on Saturday. The Three Lions managed to advance to the last eight following an impressive 2-0 victory over Germany at Wembley.
Ukraine, who registered just a single victory in the group stages, squeezed past Sweden with a last-minute winner at Hampden Park.
The other match will be between Belgium taking on Italy on Friday while the Czech Republic facing Denmark on the same day. Saturday’s second match will be between Switzerland and Spain.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Mourinho said, “Let me give you my view.”
“England for sure. Czech Republic v Denmark will be a difficult one but I will say Denmark. Belgium v Italy, that’s a big one, a really big one. I will say Italy.”
“Switzerland v Spain is also a big one but Granit Xhaka is not playing and they need him so Spain will go through.”
