Paul Pogba could be persuaded into signing for Real Madrid if Kylian Mbappe arrives at the Bernabeu at the end of the season.
That’s according to Spanish outlet AS who report that Mbappe signing for Real Madrid could ‘tip the balance’ into the Spanish giants’ favour ahead of other sides in the race for Pogba – Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest.
The Manchester United star is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and Madrid are long-term admirers.
The article claims Madrid are willing to match Pogba’s reported earnings of €15m [£12.7m] per season and that they’d be open to including a ‘transfer bonus’ in any potential deal, however, the report also outlines that United are still keen on Pogba remaining at the club.

United ‘want to renew’ Pogba’s contract, with positive noises having emerged from the player’s camp in recent weeks, the report claims.
In more transfer gossip, United would like to sign Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The article claims that Ndidi, 24, would be open to a move away from Leicester after the Foxes’ slow start to the season.
It’s also said that Ndidi is actively ‘thinking about a way out’ of Leicester’ and, with United in the market for a specialist defensive midfielder, the article reports United won’t hesitate to enquire about a potential deal for the midfielder if their problems continue.
