Captain of the national U17 female’s team, Basira Alhassan has disclosed the tactics the Librarian adopted in the first leg.
It will be recalled that, the Black Maidens won the first leg in Monrovia, which put them on a safer side coming into the 2nd leg game scheduled to tomorrow.
In the pre match interview, the captain revealed how the liberians made the game difficult for them but upon adequate communication, they were able to sit in well to record a win
” Liberians were very aggressive but we were able to communicate to ourselves so that we will able to contain the pressure they were bringing to us.
Speaking on the 2nd leg, the captain revealed they are prepared to meet the liberians come tomorrow.
” We have psyched ourselves in the 2nd leg, as the coach said early own, majority of us have not had such exposure and in such international match before but we have psyched our mind and in our friendly matches, we saw how we’ve work on ourselves, so there won’t any problem tomorrow” the captain said.
