Manchester City have a slight edge on Chelsea and Liverpool in the early Premier League title race – despite a big concern for Pep Guardiola.
That’s according to talkSPORT pundit and former Scotland international, Ally McCoist, who is tipping Guardiola and his star-studded team to claim the trophy for a fourth time in five seasons.
That sequence includes an eye-catching victory over Chelsea and an equally important point at Anfield.
Despite failing in their attempt to sign a replacement for club record goalscorer Sergio Aguero – now in Spain with La Liga giants Barcelona – it’s those performances against other title contenders which have made Guardiola and co the side to beat once again.

“I’ve still got them just, just, just slight favourites ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool.”
