Gaffer for Halifax Ladies, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo bemoans the fitness of her side ahead of their clash with Police Ladies in the fast-approaching Normalization Committee Special Competition.

But an initiative from the interim managers of the football association is set to bring back football in the West African nation.
After her sides training session, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo spoke to NB Sports,
“Women are not like men and we have stayed at home for a long time. And it is evident in our training session that my players are not up-to-scratch with their performance.
“But a journey of a 1000 kilometres begins with a step. Hence, what we have started will yield positive fruits.”
