Ex-player of Sea Lions, Bridget Adu has not shied away from meeting up with her former employers in the knockout round of the special competition.
The left back cum winger joined Tema-based club, Halifax Ladies a month ago from Elmina-based outfit Sea Lions FC and has dazzled for her new side.
By virtue of the position of Halifax Ladies in Group D (2nd) , they will lock horns against Sea Lions who topped Group C with a total of 9 points after six games.
In an interview with NBSportslive, Bridget Adu said:
“Yes, I’m ready to face my former employers (Sea Lions) It’s not going to be easy but I am ready for the task ahead.”
Bridget Adu could actually be the Judas that sell out her former players as her in-depth knowledge of Sea Lions could be the trick that Halifax Ladies need to progress into the semi finals of the tournament.
