Immigration Ladies today capped off an unimpressive crusade in the Normalization Committee Women Special Competition after they lost by a calamitous own goal on match day six against Halifax Ladies.

The security service team have already being eliminated from the special competition but were fighting for pride on match day six only for their efforts to be thwarted by one of their own.

Defender Lawrencia Kumi’s own goal summed up an underwhelming campaign for Immigration Ladies as the officers lost their final game by 1-0 against Halifax Ladies on Wednesday.

Despite Immigration Ladies huffing and puffing for majority of the game, it was their opponents that stole the available points on the 93rd minute mark.

Having already booked their ticket in the next round, Halifax Ladies rounded up their campaign to secure their fourth win in six games.

The results means Immigration Ladies finished bottom of Group D with three points after six games, representing 16.67% of the total points available.
