Sunday, April 14 marked the climax of an exciting competition which crowned Sekondi-based outfit Hasaacas Ladies as winners of the Normalization Committee Women Special Competition. Hasaacas Ladies clawed back from a an early two goal deficit against Techiman-based Ampem Darkoa Ladies to claim a pulsating 3-2 victory.
After the mouthwatering action at the El Wak Sports stadium, Halifax youngster Constance Serwa Agyemang won the discovery of the year award for her stellar performance in the 6-weeks tournament.
The teenager, who is currently in her first year at T. I Ahmadiyya Senior High School – Kumasi, dazzled for Tema-based club Halifax Ladies.
It is no surprise Constance, 15, picked up the discovery of the year award as she follows in the footsteps of a tall list of sports stars to hail from AMASS Phobia.
Just recently, Ghanaian sprinter, Hor Halutie, a product of T. I Ahmadiyya raised the flag of Ghana high at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
