A first-half goal blitz by Fabulous Ladies was enough to see off Supreme Ladies in an entertaining and impressive 3-1 victory.

Arguably, the most keenly contested and evenly matched group in the ongoing Normalization Committee Women Special Competition is Group A.

Fabulous were sitting on a single point and on third position after two games, but an impressive 3-1 win over Supreme Ladies lifts them to second and tied on the same points with Ashtown Ladies.

Agnes Aduako started the onslaught in the 11th minute, Rosina Kurbile grabbed the second goal in the 22nd minute and completed the raid five minutes after the team’s second goal.

Jenifer Kamkam Yeboah reduced the deficit from 12 yards out as she coolly scored from the penalty spot with 19 minutes before full time.

The goal raid by the away side proved pivotal in pegging them at the second spot, as three of the four teams are tied on five points after three matches in Group A.
