Coach Yusif Basigi of Hasaacas Ladies bemoaned the profligacy of his side against Soccer Intellectuals on match day three which eventually ended in a scoreless stalemate.

Despite the plethora of goal scoring opportunities created, his team struggled to convert any.

In spite of his side’s inability to convert chances, coach Basigi’s side picked up their first point of the ongoing Normalization Committee Women Special Competition, languishing at the bottom of Group C, four points adrift joint leaders Sea Lions and Soccer Intellectuals.

The experienced gaffer was able to identify some positives in his side irrespective of the Sekondi-based club’s wastefulness.

“The highest point from this game is that, we have improved from our previous matches. Today we played a standard game but unfortunately we failed to bury our chances against Soccer Intellectuals.

He added: “I don’t know whether they were desperate to score or down to selfishness because we squandered a lot of chances we should have buried.”

Hasmal will have to avoid defeat in the second round of the tournament to stand a chance of qualifying from group C.
