Captain of Kumasi-based heavyweights Fabulous Ladies, Agnes Aduako, is skeptical about her chances of returning to the national team, but won’t refuse a chance to don the national colours if the need arises.

The experienced attacker mesmerized defenders during her time with the senior national team, scoring goals for fun for the Black Queens.

She participated at the 2014 AWCON and winning a gold medal at the 2015 African Games, held in the Republic of Congo.

Aduako managed to get her name on the score sheet as her team brushed aside Supreme Ladies to be at par with regional rivals Ashtown Ladies on 5 points after three games.

Speaking on her chances of returning to the Black Queens, the incredulous captain said,

“I am not ready for a call-up to the national team for the mean time. But if the opportunity arises for me to don the jersey for Ghana again, I will play since I am actively involved in the game.

“I am willing to serve the nation, in case a call-up suffices.” She told NB Sports

The battle for top spot will be made spicy when Fabulous Ladies lock horns against regional rivals Ashtown Ladies in the Ashanti Derby on match day four of the ongoing special competition.
