Ampem Darkoa Ladies humiliated Prison Ladies by 4-1 in the semi finals of the ongoing NC Women Special Competition to reach the final stage of the competition.

Ampem Darkoa reduced Prison Ladies to a level of Toothless Bulldogs after the Defending Champions of the National Women’s League humiliated, dispatched and mesmerised their opponents by 4-1.

Goals scored by Amponsah Ophelia Serwaa and Mavis Owusu in the 6th and 12th minute saw the home side taking early lead in the first department of the game.

However, Ruth Animah reduced deficit for the visitors in the 18th minute before Midfielder Patience Biama came in the 28th minute to restore lead for the home side.

Prison Ladies pushed for a goal but the defensive set up of Ampem Darkoa were very strong and compact for the visitors to penetrate. Subsequently, the game went to the break.

Two players of Prison Ladies were booked in the record of the referee after Ruth Animah received a red carded whilst Tutuwaa Abigail had a yellow card both in the 49th minute of the game.

Forward Amponsah Ophelia increased the tally for home side in the 86th minute on the stroke of the 90 minutes to power the home side to a smooth victory to the grand finale.

Prison Ladies couldn’t get another whilst Ampem Darkoa maintained their 3 goals deficit.

Amepm Darkoaa thus qualified to the grand finale with 5-1 win on aggregate after winning by a lone goal in the first leg away from home in Sunyani.

Ampem Darkoaa will be waiting for the winner between Elmina Sea Lions or Hassacas Ladies in the grand finale.
