Just as promised by trainer Bright Attuquaye, Police Ladies maintained their perfect start to the special competition with a 3-1 victory over Samaria Ladies.

Police Ladies have enjoyed a 100 per cent start to campaign and went into match day three as the only side to have recorded two wins.

Samaria Ladies threatened to dent the record of the security team as Juliet Abankwa broke the deadlock on the half hour mark.

But the pep talk by coach Attuquaye, gave his side the impetus to stage a comeback as a brace from Faiza Ibrahim in the 71st and 89th minute turned the game in favour of Police Ladies.

Juanita Aguadze, added the icing on the cake with the third and final goal for the away side in stoppage time.

The win puts Police Ladies in the driving seat in Group D, and remains the only side yet to drop points in the ongoing competition.
