Red-hot center forward Juanita Aguadze has set her sight on claiming the goal queen award of the ongoing Normalization Committee Women Special Competition after racking up two goals in three games.

Juanita, opened her Police Ladies account against Halifax Ladies with a solitary striker and added to his tally against Samaria Ladies, albeit drawing blank against Immigration Ladies on match day two.

Aguadze, formerly of lower tier side Ideal Ladies has being a goal scoring revelation in the tournament with her predatory instincts and clinical finishing which has catapulted Police Ladies to the zenith of group D, without dropping a point.

The young attacker blushed when quizzed on her incredible goal scoring rate.

“Well I’m short of words for now. I will say thanks to God, because without Him I am not sure i will be able to achieve this feat.” she told NB Sports

Asked if her goal scoring form could earn her the individual accolade as the goal queen, the buoyant Juanita said,

“Yes, I see myself picking up the goal queen award. Mine is to train hard in order to make this expectation a reality, and I am sure i will do it.”

Aguadze and her Police Ladies team mates will be hoping for a continuation of their impeccable start to the tournament, when the second round kicks off on Wednesday.
