Ernestina Tetteh, who can’t stop scoring goals in the interim, revealed the secret to her explosive form in front of goal.
The ‘goal-hungry’ forward has bagged six goals in as many games played in the ongoing special competition, grabbing the headlines on match day four with a hat trick against Police Ladies.
The two-time Most Valuable Player award winner’s personal accolades has turned the fortunes of Halifax Ladies, shooting them to nine points and making them joint leaders of Group D.
The young striker picked up a knock before the start of the competition, but quickly recovered to play a part for Halifax Ladies.
In an interaction with NB Sports, Ernestina revealed the trick to her goalscoring feat.
“Our coach (Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo) encouraged me that despite the injury setback, I could still relive my old form and unleash the beast in me.
“In order to get a chance back into the national team (Black Queens), that’s what I want.”
Up next for Ernestina Tetteh and her teammates will be Samaria Ladies who lost to Immigration Ladies in the other group game.
