Tracy Twum’s brace was not enough to qualify Supreme Ladies to the next stage of the ongoing special competition.

In a battle of David and Goliath, Supreme Ladies overcame group leaders Ashtown 2-1, but the result was not enough to push their ambitions of making it to the next phase of the competition.

Tracy Twum grabbed a brace in the 41st and 45th minute for Supreme Ladies in the dead rubber game which took place over the weekend. She proceeded to claim the Most Valuable Player Award with her performance.

Joyce Antwiwaa Fenteng halved the deficit in the 51st minute, but the strike by the Ashtown Ladies attacker, was only good enough to be a consolation in the game.

The win for the homesters was a case of much I do about nothing, as their first win of the ongoing competition has no effect on the group standings.

Supreme Ladies have bagged a total of four points out of five games, four points adrift joint leaders, Ashtown and Fabulous Ladies, making qualification impossible with one game left.
