Black Queens and Police Ladies goalkeeper, Fafali Dumehasi believes there is more room for improvement for her side as they go face to face with Immigration Ladies on Wednesday.
Dumehasi, a member of the Black Queens side that broke the heart of Ghanaians with their poor display and failure to qualify for the World Cup was in between the posts for Police Ladies over the weekend as they pipped Halifax Ladies to a 1-0 win.
Despite claiming all three points, Fafali opined her side were fortunate to have claimed victory as her team fell short on all aspects of the game aside chances conversion.
Being aware of her team’s shortcomings, the candid custodian said:
“We are going back to training in order to work things out. Though we won, there were some basic mistakes which has to be rectified so that Wednesday’s fixture (against Immigration Ladies) will end in victory.”
A win for the Black Queen and her security teammates will put Police Ladies in pole position to qualify to the next phase of the Normalization Committee Women Special Competition.
