Confluence Queens of Kogi state have qualified for the final of 2019 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) Super 4 after a 2-0 over Adamawa Queens at the Agege Stadium on Friday.

This is first time the New Direction ladies will get to this stage of the competition.

Two first half brace from Arit Usang was enough to book a spot for the New Direction ladies in the finals scheduled for Sunday.

Arit Usang open the score sheet 3 minutes to the game when she capitalized on a rebound after Adamawa Queens goalie Obadinma Nkiruka failed to handle the ball well.
Arit Usang completed her brace in the 26th minute to seal final place for Confluence Queens.

Confluence Queens will now play the winner of the second game between defending champions, Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels in Sunday’s final at the Agege Stadium, Lagos, Nigeria by 4pm West African Time.

Adamawa Queens on the other hand will have to settle for the bronze medal when they take on the loser of the match between Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels on Sunday by 2pm West African time.
