Nigerian Women Premier league side Osun Babes FC have confirmed the appointment of former Bayelsa Queens technical adviser Mike Ekpeyong as the team’s new head coach.
The club confirmed Tuesday evening after they held talks with the former Bayelsa Queens manager In Oshogbo.
Former Taraba Queens manager Adewale Olatunji will assist him alongside former Osun Babes forward, Olayinka Adunola.
Segun Awopetu, Kehinde Salami and Wakili Daramola were retained as Goalkeeper trainer, Welfare Officer and Curator respectively.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach succeeds Liadi Bashiru who has been with the team for the past seven seasons despite almost qualifying the team to the Super 4 two seasons ago.
Ekpeyong will be officially unveiled in Osogbo before the end of the week
