Edo Queens Head Coach, Gabriel Adejor, has told confirmed that he wants to build a dynasty to surpass the trophy- gathering machine Edwin Okon has created at Rivers Angels.
Adejor is supremely confident about his side securing a spot in next season’s Super 4 and probably going all the way to lift it for the first time in the club’s history.
” To whom much is given much is expected,” Adejor told thenwfl.com.
” We have improved as a team over the past few months and with the rebranding of the team by the state government, we have no excuse but to give our fans what they want.”
The former Bendel Insurance defender says he wants to go down in history as the man who ended Edo Queens trophiless drought and feels the time has come.
” We look forward to brighter days and i would like people to look back on my time here and say I was a good manager, a manager that ended a long wait for silverware.
” We plan to bring in more experienced players and keep some of the good players we have. We are rebuilding and at the same time want to attain success this season. Its not going to be easy, but we know what we want.
” There is a momentum building up here in Edo Queens, and I think after so many years, the fans deserve success. I believe they will have something to celebrate before too long.” He concluded.
