Ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigerian Women Football league season, former Super Falconet captain Oluwakemi Famuditi has joined Bayelsa Queens from Confluence Queens.
The 21 year old confirmed that she thought of going to europe but Bayelsa Queens offer came and she is opted for it. She is delighted with her new home and look forward to beautiful days there.
“I feel so excited although my plan after leaving confluence Queen before is to move to Europe but when the bayelsa offer came I grab it with happiness, maybe is not yet time for me to move to Europe”. She told NBSportlive
The former confluence Queens defender relish on her performance with confluence Queens and look forward to do better in Bayelsa Queens.
“Anyway my performance at Confluence Queen was superb, in this life anything we are doing we need dream big,, although leaving confluence queen is not easy because we are just like family there but I don’t have options than to leave cos I think I have tried for them”.
With her move to Bayelsa Queens, Kemi feels it will open a better door for her at the national team. She looks forward to her first call up to the Super Falcons team.
“Of course I want to play for the Super Falcons after playing in all age-grade national team. I strongly believe the time is now. I will be glad if I am invited. I will grab the opportunity with both hands”.
Famuditi was with confluence Queens squad that were runners up of the NWFL Super 4 last season.
