Ahead of the Nigeria Women Football League Pro-league, Moje Queens forward Glory Archibong has promised that her team will not be intimidated by the bigger teams in Lokoja.

Archibong who told thenwfl.com that she and her teammates are confident of what they can deliver as the Erin-Ile based side look to gain promotion into the premier league this year.

The NWFL Pro-league will see two teams out of four promote to the elite league in a round-robin format at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja and the Akwa-Ibom born winger is optimistic of premiership glory this time around.

” We know we aren’t the biggest team in the NWFL pro-league but it wouldn’t stop us from achieving our aim; which is gaining promotion to the elite league.

” The coaches keeps reminding us of the rich pedigree of Pelican Stars and how much we must put in from the first game till the end.

” We can’t be intimidated by Pelican Stars and the other teams. We are as good as them and we have to show it. Police Machine FC and Olori Babes are also great sides, but we won’t let ourselves and our fans down.” She concluded.
