2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) Champions, Rivers Angels commenced the celebration of their 7th NWPL trophy with Media tour of major radio and television stations around Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital city.

The team also seized the opportunity to make a wonderful and eye catching photoshoot of their celebration with the converted trophy.

Cecilia Nku penalty was enough to seal victory for Rivers Angels in the final of the Super 4 tournament.

Rivers Angels had earlier on defeated former Champions, Bayelsa Queens on penalties in the semi final with Super Falcons goal keeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie saving two (2) penalties for Rivers Angels during the penalty shootout in that encounter.

Rivers Angels finished top of Group A during regular season with 13 points from 6 matches ahead of FC Robo Queens of Lagos, Delta Queens and Osun Babes to qualify for the Super 4 tournament in which they emerge as champions.
