Bayelsa Queens head coach has expressed his feelings towards his teams performance at the just concluded 2019 Nigerian Women Premier league Super 4.
Bayelsa Queens defeated Adamawa Queens 4-0 to pick the bronze medal in the match played at the Agege Stadium courtesy of goals from Blessing Ilivieda, Rafiat Sure, Tessy Biawo and Joy Jerry.
In an interview with the media after the third place match, the former Nigerian international confirmed that he wasn’t really satisfied with his players performance despite picking up the bronze medal.
“Nobody goes to the battle field with the aim of loosing. Though we didn’t get to the finals which is disappointing, the girls played well but we will still work on the attack. It really cost us in the first match against River Angels. It really needs to be sharpened. Like wise the defense.
“We are going back to the drawing board to make amends on areas we lack behind and work towards making it better before next season. We are coming back for our trophy next season.
Aduku also congratulate the board members of the NWPL for the good job done.
“ Big Kudos to the board, they have really don well. The league this season is superb and if they can keep it up this way, we will get to our desired destination”. He concluded
The former Champions went home with the sum of one million naira at the end of the competition.
