New Halifax Ladies signing, Bridget Adu is highly optimistic going in to their first game against Police Ladies over the weekend.

The left back cum winger joined the Accra-based club a month ago from Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom owned outfit,Sea Lions.

In an interview with NB Sports she said she tried to differentiate her previous club from Halifax Ladies.

“I don’t have much to say in relation to the difference between Sea Lions and Halifax Ladies. But, the only thing I can say is, playing for Halifax Ladies is good. I feel comfortable playing here. ”

“I am slowly grasping the language (Ga) in my new environment.”

The optimistic left-footed player is confident her performance will push her side for a win against Police Ladies.

“I am going all out. I want to help the team (Halifax Ladies) to win against Police Ladies. ”

After a 9-month hiatus on the domestic front, football is set to return this Saturday.
