Former Black Princesses midfielder, Patience Adjetey grabbed the best midfielder in the just ended Nigeria Women’s Football League Awards.

The 2nd edition of the Naija Women Football League Awards was held today, Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at the Agege Stadium Media Centre.

Amidst the glitz, several former legends of women’s football in Nigeria graced the event with a little Ghanaian element as Patience Adjetey toppled everyone for the best midfielder accolade.

The awards which was aimed at honouring, rewarding and celebrating some of the most successful footballing talents and rising stars in the Nigeria Women Football League saw the Delta Queens midfielder beating several talents to it.

Patience Adjetey was part of the squad led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani led to the 8th edition of the FIFA Under-20 Women’s Cup in Papua New Guinea.
