Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds..
Antonio Rudiger weighing up options
Rudiger’s contract situation at Chelsea continues to be a hot talking point with little clarity from either the club or player yet. Reports have previously stated that the German International had talks stalled with Chelsea over increased wage demands.
According to Sky Sports now the defender is weighing up options regarding his move for the future. With his contract at Stamford Bridge expiring at the end of the season the player is said to be ‘keen on exploring his options’.
Sky Sport say that they have been told that up to six of Europe’s top clubs are ready to offer him a contract in January. One of the clubs included in the six is Bayern Munich per the report.
Manchester United join Tchouameni race
The Express has reported that Manchester United have now joined the race with Chelsea and Juventus in a bid to sign Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Monaco midfielder was impressed recently in the Nations League final with France against Spain. His national teammate Paul Pogba could help sway the youngster to make a move to Old Trafford instead of Stamford Bridge.
Pogba has previously praised the 21-year-old’s explore for the club and the Les Bleus. Chelsea will have to keep a close eye on the player to make they don’t miss out on the chance to sign the player.
Gary Linker questions Jorginho

The pundit discussed some of the best ‘ballers’ with Alan Shearer and Micah Richards some of their best midfielders. Speaking about Jorginho Lineker said: “It’s easy just to take the sidewards option.

“I think there was a spell when Trent Alexander-Arnold had a dip. People saying ‘oh, he gives the ball away.’
“Well, he’s trying unbelievable passes and brilliant crosses, so that’s possibly why, rather than knocking it five yards sideways.
“I was just thinking of a few midfielder players; off the top of my head, Jorginho or Thiago.
“Brilliant players but different kind of players. Keep possession, keep possession, good stats. But, are they going to lift a game?”
