Fast-growing Ghanaian Sports agency, Urban Africa Sports Management have signed former Ghana female Youth defender Opoku.
The 21-year-old Police Ladies center-back joins the Urban family as a client of the firm on August 7, 2019. The former Ashtown Ladies defender has had a fantastic spell with the service team and was one of the best center backs at the NC Women Special Competition.
Opoku who has earned a call-up to the Black Queens team to prepare for the upcoming Olympic games qualifier against Gabon represented Ghana at youth level where she featured for the Black Maidens and Black Princesses team at the FIFA U17 and U20 Women’s World Cup.
Urban Africa Sports Management is one of few established agencies in the county thriving to the top and has many female athletes on their team.
The agency currently manages South Africa’s Regina Mogolola, former Liberty Professionals captain and Samuel Sarfo who recently moved to Saudi Club Al-Khaleej from Irani side Saipa among others.
